And we’re bringing you guys two looks for a backyard wedding, or just a wedding in general haha. If you’re anything like us, you’ve got a couple weddings coming your way. And if you’re even more like us, you’re on a college budget. But, no need to fear! You can still look effortlessly flawless on a budget! All you gotta do is look for stuff and of-course, learn how to use your coupons. Never be ashamed of coupons, companies actually price discriminate. Yes! Thats a thing, they separate their customers into two categories: those who will spend more money and those who won’t. Be the smart shopper! Only if you want, if you’ve got that cash then go spend what you got haha. But today, we’re focusing on affordable looks so i hope you guys enjoy and recreate these looks (:
Hi guys! So, today we are coming to you with a totally different post than are usual OOTD. We want to share our go-to products with you and give you a little review and maybe you’ll want to try them out! (:
Xotchitl’s Go-to’s:
-L’oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation: This foundation is my everyday wear products, especially those early mornings when I’m getting ready for school. I have oily skin and this lasts on me all day and I only have to blot once through out my day. The coverage that this gives is medium but you can totally layer it up without it looking cakey.
-Anastasia dipbrow: Brows are a must for me! I found this pomade to be easier and quicker for me to work with than they brow wiz pencil. It also helps keep my crazy brow hairs in place. Brows make a big difference, so I really recommend this product!
-Wet n Wild Color Icon Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in the color Calling You Buff!: I’ve never been a fan of the black liner on the waterline, (I’m I the only one?!) for me it felt that it made my eyes look smaller, and im all about big bright eyes! Nude is my favorite color to put in my waterline because it makes my eyes look bigger, brighter, and more awake.
Paola’s Go-To’s:
-Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide Foundation: I love this foundation because it feels lightweight on my skin and still gives me the amount of coverage that I like. The color match is perfect which is why I reach for this baby everyday!
-YSL Babydoll Mascara: Mascara is an everyday thing for me, even if I put on no other makeup I throw this on because I feel it makes a difference. The reason I love this mascara is because it doesnt irritate my eyes like other tends to do, it is also easy to apply and does not look flaky.
-Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: So I’m a college student, so you already know I don’t get that much sleep. This concealer does a great job covering my dark circles and making me seem like I’m not half asleep at my 8 am lectures. It does not crease under my eyes and gives me a nice higlighted glowing look.
We also included pictures of the products with the price, and a link to where you can find them! So will you guys me trying any of these products? Or what are your go-to products? Let us know in the commnets below! (:
Hey Guys! We know, its been a while. But fortunately, we’re back on track and we hope to make our posts more frequent now! We started off April with our niece’s birthday party. Sophia the First themed as you can probably tell haha. In honor of her theme and Spring taking the center spot light, we went more pinky than usual and more blossomy? Maybe? yes? Is that the word for it? Take care beauties!
Hey Guys! Bringing you another OOTD post, because who doesn’t love those? The weather has been so gloomy lately so i was pretty excited to get back to wearing darker colors, even though you can totally do that for bright days too! Its bitter-sweet because I’m really excited to start wearing all my floral sundresses again for spring again but then i like dressing all warm and cozy. Okay well here are the details about my outfit!
Hi guys! So today I wanted to let you know about an inexpensive beauty program perfect for anyone who likes to try new brands. Every month you get a delivery of 4 or 5 beauty products to try out! and the best part: its only about 10 dollars every month! That’s about the same cost of a mascara at Target, but instead you’re getting 5 PRODUCTS! This month I recieved: City Color Cosmetics Lip Balm in Blush, Eva NYC Volumizing Spray, Glamglow Eye Treatment, Model Co Blush, Pencil Me In Eyeliner in Amethyst. I created this look for you guys using the eyeliner, blush, and lipbalm. The main focus was the eyes and lip color now if you have brown eyes like myself this eyeliner color really helps make them pop, I added it on my water line and blended it out using the color “Hustle” from the Urban Decay Naked Pallete. On my lips I placed the lip balm as a base since the color is a bit bright, and layered it with a mauve colored lipstick (touch of spice by maybelline) to soften the color. The look is a romantic, sultry eye color perfect to wear with any warm tones. Here’s some pictures of it, let me know what you think. Interested in Ipsy?
Today we met one of our old friends out for lunch at Victoria Gardens! With 80 degree weather, we decided to keep it simple and flowy. We hate wearing tight clothing out to dinner. Are we the only ones? It feels like you can’t eat comfortably and we love to eat! Haha
Xotchitl wore a white dress from Selena Gomez, a kimono from V-generation, and white beaded sandals from kohl’s.
Paola wore a striped t-shirt dress from V-generation, a dark blue denim shirt from kohl’s, and black booties from Payless.
Feel free to click on the photos for a closer look!
